| Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex is one of the largest sports facilities in Florida. The complex includes baseball fields, baseball stadium, softball fields, cross-country courses, various sports fields, tennis complex, track and field complex, youth baseball fields, and The Milkhouse (30,000 square foot indoor arena). The complex hosts a large number of sporting events through out the year, including some events as an inline skating marathon, triathalon, inline hockey tournaments, and martial arts festivals. The Atlanta Braves hold their spring training games at the complex. The Tampa Bay Bucaneers hold their summer practices and mini-camps at the complex periodically. The Wide World of Sports Complex is also the home to the Orlando Rays, the AA affiliate for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. |
